They Snooze you Lose by Burmark - Chapter 8

In chapter eight, Burmark explains the impact of playing music during our presentations. Besides the images, the music plays an important role during the presentation; the effect of the music is essential because it sets the mood of the audience and prepares them to listen about the subject matter. According to Burmark, it is crucial to select the perfect piece of music to set the stage for the lesson or presentation to follow. Music can change our emotions and could help us to improve education processes. Listening music while learning and then listen to the same music when testing will help students recall the information they have learned. Since I am a new teacher, I have not had a chance to use music in my classroom. After reading this chapter, I am anxious to prove music in my classroom to see if my students improve their outcomes. I am knowledgeable how important is music for teenagers, so if it will help them to be engaged in the lesson and to finish their assignment on time, I am ready to try it!
